Yin yoga is a style of yoga that targets deep connective tissues of the body including: the skeletal system, ligaments, joints and fascial networks, through long held poses that encourage the muscles to relax. Yang yoga includes heat and strength building poses that target the muscular system. This fusion class offers an opportunity to explore both styles of practice, creating balance and harmony in the body and mind.
For sanitary purposes, we encourage you to bring your own personal yoga mat.
These classes are for beginning exercisers as well as members who like a no- or low-impact workout. These classes are easy to follow, and instructors will offer modifications to meet your specific exercise goals. Modifications may include higher or lower intensity options or alternative moves.
