This is a therapeutic yoga class that improves your range of motion, releases stress, and leaves your body feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Traditional yoga poses including stretches, balance exercises and strengthening exercises are done using the chair. The class will end with a guided meditation to take your body and mind to a more peaceful state of relaxation.
Yoga mats and chairs are provided. If you wish to do the poses without the chair, your own mat is recommended. Please wear long shorts or pants and loose fitting clothing.
These classes are for beginning exercisers as well as members who like a no- or low-impact workout. These classes are easy to follow, and instructors will offer modifications to meet your specific exercise goals. Modifications may include higher or lower intensity options or alternative moves.
