TRX stands for Total body resistance exercise. This is a suspension training bodyweight exercise class that builds total body strength, flexibility and core stabilization at the same time. This is an intense workout created by U.S. Navy Seals.
TRX classes are held on the TRX frames at the Pierremont location on the 2nd floor in the weight area. WK North classes are offered on the 2nd floor near the jogging track and WK Bossier classes are offered on the first floor in the weight room area. See front desk to register. Classes fill quickly.
Advanced classes are for members who are adept at group exercise, as well as those who wish to work out with a high intensity. Low-impact options are offered, but the intensity stays high.
